Honest terms, plainly said.
Last updated: June 17, 2026
BottomsUp Fam is peer and community support for sobriety, built on honesty and respect. These terms explain what the project is, what it is not, and the simple rules for taking part. By using the site you agree to them.
BottomsUp Fam is not medical care, therapy, or a crisis service. It is peer and community support, and it is not a substitute for professional treatment, counseling, or emergency help. Nothing here is medical advice. If you or someone you know is in crisis, in danger, or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 (the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US), call 911, or contact your local emergency services. Crisis and safety resources are always free and are never placed behind any payment.
1. Who we are
BottomsUp Fam is a project of OYE Creations LLC ("we", "us", "BottomsUp Fam"). These terms govern your use of bottomsupfam.com and the BottomsUp Fam pages, sign-up forms, and community content (the "Service"). If anything here is unclear, reach us through the chat bubble on any BottomsUp Fam page.
2. What the Service does
BottomsUp Fam is a sobriety and accountability podcast and a peer-support community. It shares one man's story of addiction, a fatal DUI, recovery, and accountability, and it offers a space for people climbing out of addiction and for people who have lost someone to alcohol-related tragedy. It is support and storytelling, not treatment.
3. Not medical advice
The content, conversations, and any tracking or check-in features are for peer support and personal reflection only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a replacement for a doctor, therapist, sponsor, or licensed treatment program. Always seek the advice of a qualified professional for any question about your health or recovery. See the notice at the top of this page for crisis resources.
4. Eligibility
BottomsUp Fam covers addiction, recovery, and the consequences of a fatal DUI. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.
5. Accounts and sign-ups
You do not need an account to read the site or listen. If you join a mailing list to hear when the show launches or to follow Josh's case, you are responsible for the accuracy of the email you give us and for keeping it current. You can remove yourself at any time.
6. A recovery-supportive space
This is a space for people in or affected by recovery, and we expect everyone to treat it that way. By taking part you agree to:
- Be respectful. No harassment, threats, hate, or cruelty toward anyone, including the people who have been harmed.
- Protect privacy. Do not share other people's personal or recovery details without their consent.
- Keep it supportive. No promoting alcohol or drug use, no selling or soliciting, no spam.
- Stay lawful. Do not use the Service to do anything illegal or to infringe anyone's rights, and do not try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site.
We may remove content or restrict access for anyone who treats this space in a way that puts others at risk.
7. No charge
BottomsUp Fam is free to use. There are no paid features, subscriptions, or purchases on the site today, so there is nothing to bill and nothing to refund. If we ever add a paid feature, we will update these terms first and make the price clear before you pay. Either way, crisis and safety resources will always remain free.
8. Who owns what
The BottomsUp Fam name, content, episodes, design, and branding belong to OYE Creations LLC and the show's hosts. You may share and link to our content for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, resell, or repurpose it without our written permission. Anything you send us (for example, a message of support) you grant us permission to use respectfully in connection with the project, unless you tell us otherwise.
9. No guarantee of outcomes
Recovery is personal and hard, and no website or podcast can promise a result. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OYE Creations LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. The Service is a support resource, not a provider of medical or emergency care, and decisions about your health and safety remain yours and your providers'.
11. Termination
You can stop using BottomsUp Fam at any time and ask us to remove your information. We may restrict or end access for anyone who violates these terms or uses the Service in a way that creates risk for others. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project grows. If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located in New Mexico, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
